UNCT Annual Report 2022

In 2022 the UN Country Team, in close cooperation with the government, civil society and development partners continued to support Georgia to achieve its national development priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The UN supported Georgia to strengthen governance system, to uphold human rights for every person in Georgia, to promote gender equality, to foster competitiveness of Georgian businesses and bolster human capital, to improve environmental governance, climate action and sustainable management and use of natural resources in Georgia and to enhance social protection to reduce poverty, inequalities and assist the most vulnerable persons and communities, including the conflict-affected people.
