Potato sorting and storage facility boosts Akhalkalaki farmers’ lives

With a matching grant from EU and FAO, under the ENPARD programme, LTD "Akhali Mosavali" managed to purchase a receiving hopper, ventilation system, and wooden crates and set up a modern potato sorting and storage facility in Chamdura, Akhlakalaki region, where potatoes are stored with high standards. The storage facility has come in handy for many farmers and entrepreneurs in the region. Now it supports up to 200 rural entrepreneurs and farmers in selling their harvest and minimising food loss and plans to strengthen others productive capacities.
